I hope your year to date has been fantastic. We have definitely experienced some uncharacteristic weather over the last month. A nice change, and definitely a chance to get an extra yoga class in while outdoor activities are not quite so accessible. It is nice to see that most of us have stuck with our new year resolutions, maintaining a consistent practice throughout the summer. Our next challenge will be the shorter, colder days of winter. You can do it!
Recent changes to the schedule include Jen adding an extra class on Thursday nights at 6.30pm, and myself taking on a Wednesday 9am class. These classes have already started, adding some extra options to fit into your schedule. Pilates classes have been discontinued for now, and I am on the lookout for a new pilates teacher.
Also, Gemma will conduct her last Zumba class on Friday this week (26th), and will then start her new time slot at 6.30pm Tuesday nights, beginning Tue 30th March. Come and try this fast paced, fun new exercise that’s sweeping the nation.
While speaking of classes, I am happy to announce that the online booking system has been operational, and hiccup free for the last couple of months. You can now book classes online by clicking the link from the Mooloolaba page on my website, or continue to call or text to book classes. As time passes and clients become comfortable with the system, this will become the preferred method of booking classes, and eventually priority will be given to those booked in online in the case of full classes. For the time being, the payment option is not accessible, so the current option of bank transfer is still the preferred method, with bank details available on the website.
In other Yoga news, those who like to travel, or have friends in South East Queensland who may like to take a Yoga Vida class, I will be conducting a couple of road trips in upcoming months. I will be teaching a master class at My Health yoga in Brisbane on Saturday 24th April at 11am, and at the Gold Coast on Saturday 22nd May. Everyone is invited, and I would love to have some of my local yogis there for support. Stay tuned for more info.
For any other news, and updates, please check the whiteboard in the studio, or add the Yoga Vida fan page to your facebook account. Until next month, keep healthy and happy, and let’s hope for a little bit more sunshine.
