  1. improve your flexibility and strength and balance, and hence performance
  2. reduce your risk of breakdown or injury
  3. Improve your breathing and recovery time
  4. empower you with that edge that all the pros are gaining

Don't be afraid if you have never done before, all levels are catered for, and most of you are in the same boat.

Look around the class to spot the pros.  I teach all the nutrigrain series ironmen, and all the coasts best triathletes.  Congrats Dave Dellow, on winning the Noosa Tri.

All sports are catered for, and all will notice the benefits from class one.

Thank you Jason and Lisa Crowther from Atlas Multisports Coaching for putting together this class.

Pilates - Karen Guerin - New class times

Wednesday's 10.30am, and now Thursday's at 6.30pm  Pilates gets you in tune with your body.  Pilates exercises develop a strong core - strengthening the deep abdominal muscles along with the muscles closest to the spine.  Conventional workouts tend to build short, bulky muscles, the type most prone to injury.  Pilates elongates and strengthens, improving muscle elasticity and joint mobility and makes your body less prone to injury.

Emily Rockett

Emily Rockett discovered yoga in 2004 as a solution to muscle tension from surfing. When the benefits of yoga became addictive it soon developed into its own daily discipline. Through world travel and exploration Emily developed a style of yoga that compliments and active lifestyle “regardless of your fitness level, yoga will transform your body and calm your mind”.

Emily completed her certification at the Byron Yoga Centre studying under some of Australia’s most acclaimed instructors. “My main goal as a teacher is for people to get the most out of their bodies in order to live happy and fulfilled lives”. Emily’s classes are a balance of strength and flexibility suitable for all ages and levels of ability “my classes are warm and welcoming with a focus on the individual needs of every student.”

Kerry Lyons

Kerry has been practising yoga for 30 years.  What began as an interesting physical practice eventually became a passion, driven by yoga’s power to transform body and mind.  This passion eventually led to teacher training and to advanced studies in yoga therapy.  Sharing this knowledge with other students was a natural next step and has become a fulfilling new career.

In her classes Kerry aims to let students experience for themselves the power of breath and movement to develop strength and flexibility and to promote a deep sense of wellbeing that can transform lives.

She continues to deepen her knowledge by study with New York based world renowned teacher, Leslie Kaminoff.  Kerry is a member of Yoga Australia and the International Association of Yoga Therapists
