200hr Yoga
Teacher Training

Our 200hr Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training is Yoga Alliance certified and internationally recognised. Delivered over 5-6 months on weekends, the course teaches all aspects of yoga including teaching methodology, anatomy, philosophy, business and more. Our lead trainers bring over two decades of extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of yoga including teaching methodology, anatomy, philosophy, business and more. This course welcomes all levels to join this transformative experience that allows each student to deepen their yoga practice.

Fridays 12 - 5pm, and Saturday 6.00am - 4.30pm, Sundays 6.00am - 4pm.

We split the days with lots of breaks, and mix between theory and practice.

Lead Trainers

Zoe Zohs

Bryan Castle

Our two lead trainers, Zoe and Bryan, make this teacher training truly unique by sharing their own different style and approach of yoga from over a decade of teaching. Zoe, the yin of the duo, brings extensive knowledge and experience on yogic philosophy, history and restorative yoga. While Bryan, the yang of the duo, brings his experience in teaching methodology, business and dynamic yoga. This combination of teachings will allow you to explore all the various aspects of yoga and find your own unique style.

What to expect

  • A practice that allows the development of a compassionate relationship with one's self, and the nurturing of this to enable a wholesome embodied presence in the world

  • Mentoring through the process of developing your own home practice

  • Experience a variety of practices from Hatha, dynamic vinyasa flow, restorative, yin, yoga nidra and an understand how to teach each style

  • Learn the alchemy of a yoga practice and how to sequence your own classes to encourage the possibility of an experience of yoga in the classes you deliver

  •  Learn about the prana vayu's and their value in a yoga asana practice

  • Develop a foundational pranayama and meditation practice

  • Develop a mindfulness practice and see its benefits

  • Learn the philosophy of yogic traditions as well as the buddha dharma, and how these are still applicable today

  • Encourage a deep listening to the body to unfold your own path

  • Develop trust in one self as a way to move through life

  • Learn your capacity to lead and guide others, while holding a safe space for them to experience themselves in.

  • Encourage a balance of giving and receiving in your practice and teaching.

  • Discover your style and voice as a teacher, and use it to your best ability

  • Learn how to give adjustments with and without physical contact

  • Gain a solid insight into the business of yoga; from teaching at studios, studio ownership, yoga retreats/workshops, community yoga and charity work.
